“Excellent tour and saw amazing places and experienced lovely things. It met our needs of visiting the Rockies and was well priced for what it had offered. Well worth the money. Brad was very well spoken and knowledgeable with all the information he provided. He knew his information/history and provided us with all necessary information. Len was very friendly and professional one of the best drivers from a tour company we have experienced.”
Our tours are conducted in English only, by a professional tour director with more than 10 years of experience!
We recommend booking your tour as soon as your plans are confirmed, as departure dates are quite popular and can fill up quickly. Essentially, book early to avoid disappointment!
Key West Travel does not offer individual pick-ups as our tour guests would like to depart Vancouver as scheduled. Usually, the tour departs from Hyatt Regency Downtown Vancouver (655 Burrard Street).
Standard hotels are mountain lodge-style while premium hotels are resort-style. The majority of our guests choose standard accommodation as these hotels are very clean and comfortable, and travellers will get their own private room and washroom. Travellers who book premium accommodation often do so because they want to stay at Chateau Lake Louise. If you want to book premium accommodation, be sure to book early as these hotels sell out quickly – they usually aren’t available within 6 months of departure!
Gratuities are not included in the prices (unless indicated). While it is neither our place nor our wish to tell you how much to tip, gratuities in Canada are often given in recognition of service excellence.
Depends on the day. if you are travelling from Vancouver to Jasper or Banff, it will be a minimum of 10 hours. However, every 2-3 hours, you get out of the bus for mini breaks. During the sightseeing days, you will spend little time on the bus as you will be walking/sightseeing/hiking & etc.
Day 1 (Vancouver to Jasper)
Depart from Vancouver and drive through the farming communities of the Fraser Valley. Ascend into the Coastal Mountains and follow the Coquihalla Highway to Kamloops, in the arid interior of British Columbia. After lunch, retrace the route of the famous Overlanders along the North Thompson River to reach your hotel in Jasper. Overnight in Jasper.
Day 2 (Jasper to Banff)
Your day starts with a scenic hike through Maligne Canyon before heading South. Then, travel along the world-famous Icefields Parkway to take in some of nature’s most spectacular mountain scenery. Have your camera ready for possible wildlife sightings! Highlights include Athabasca Falls, Peyto Lake, and the Columbia Icefield. Ride the “Ice Explorer”* on Athabasca Glacier or visit the Glacier Skywalk*. Overnight in Banff.
Day 3 (Sightseeing in Banff National Park)
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Banff National Park. Start your morning with a leisurely hike in Johnston Canyon and stroll along the shores of picturesque Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. In the afternoon, visit the world famous Banff Springs Hotel and Bow Falls. With your free time in Banff, you may also choose from optional activities such as soaking in the natural spa at the Upper Hot Springs* or taking a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain*. Overnight in Lake Louise.
Day 4 (Lake Louise to Kelowna)
Re-board your coach bound for the world-famous wine country of the Okanagan Valley, home to sandy beaches, wineries, orchards, and gardens. Arrive in Kelowna in the afternoon. Enjoy a refreshing tour and samples of one of the best wineries in the region. Your tour continues South through the sunbelt cities of Peachland and Summerland. Take in the spectacular views of Okanagan Lake before arriving in Kelowna. Overnight in Kelowna.
Day 5 (Kelowna to Vancouver)
After your breakfast, relax on the sandy beaches of Okanagan Lake or stroll along the heritage downtown core lined with shops, parks, and outdoor cafés. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are many opportunities for parasailing, canoeing, kayaking, and paddle-boating. On your way back to Vancouver, stop at the colourful fruit & vegetable stands in Keremeos, an agricultural community in the beautiful Similkameen Valley. Arrive in Vancouver in the evening.
