Day 5: Jasper to Banff Sightseeing - Motorcoach

Start your morning with a refreshing hike (optional) through the Maligne Canyon, a remarkable limestone gorge adorned with six narrow bridges and picturesque waterfalls. Continuing your journey south along the magnificent Icefield Parkway, often hailed as one of the most beautiful highways in the world, you will explore its must-see attractions, including Athabasca Falls, Peyto Lake, and Crowfoot Glacier. Day 6: Banff & Lake Louise Sightseeing - Motorcoach

As you make our way to Lake Louise, you will pause at Johnston Canyon for a leisurely hike (optional) along the trail that guides us to the breathtaking Lower Falls. While at Lake Louise, you’ll find numerous viewpoints offering splendid photo opportunities of the majestic Victoria Glacier towering over the lake. In the afternoon, your adventure continues as you explore other notable attractions in the Rockies, including Moraine Lake, Banff Springs Hotel, and Bow Falls. Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the mountain town of Lake Louise to Kamloops in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. Your journey offers a spectacular range of scenery as you travel between the high peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior. Today’s highlights include the Continental Divide, the engineering marvel Spiral Tunnels, Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass, Craigellachie where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, and of course the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Day 9: Kamloops to Vancouver - Rocky Mountaineer Train
Departure: 7:30 am
Arrival: 6:30 pm
Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey, you will again see dramatic changes in scenery from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coastal Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and snow sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in Fraser Canyon. Your journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening. [B] [L]

Via Rail Sleeper Plus Cabin
Day Time: You will be assigned to a private cabin for 2, which has an enclosed private washroom. Inside the cabin, there are wide armchairs and picture windows.
Night Time: As evening rolls around, a staff member pulls out the lower berth bed and lowers the upper one, dressing each bed in crisp linens.

What is a berth and cabin on Via Rail?
A berth is a semi-private sleeping space in an open sleeper car. By day, it is a seating area; at night, it converts into an upper or lower bed with curtains for privacy. Berths do not have a door or private bathroom, and washrooms are shared. This is the most economical sleeper option.
A cabin is a fully enclosed private room with a door. Cabins convert from seating into beds at night and include a private in-room toilet and sink. They offer significantly more privacy and comfort than berths, making them ideal for travelers who prefer a quiet, self-contained space.
