Pent-up demand for 2023 Canadian vacations has been extremely high, and we highly recommend booking your seats as early as possible (to secure your preferred date and avoid hotel downgrades)
In Calgary, the tour includes pick-up from either the Airport, or select downtown hotels (the Delta Downtown; the International Hotel; the Fairmont Palliser Hotel; the Westin Downtown; the Sandman City Centre).
In Edmonton, the tour includes pick-up from the airport, or the West Edmonton Mall.
Standard hotels are mountain lodge-style while premium hotels are resort-style. The majority of our guests choose standard accommodation as these hotels are very clean and comfortable, and travellers will get their own private room and washroom. If you want to book premium accommodation, be sure to book early as these hotels sell out quickly – availability is limited within 6 months of departure
Gratuities are not included in the prices (unless indicated). While it is neither our place nor our wish to tell you how much to tip, gratuities in Canada are often given in recognition of service excellence.
This depends on the day. If you are travelling from Calgary to Jasper on Day 1, it will be about 7-8 hours without any sightseeing stops or commentary, so we recommend that guests plan accordingly. However, a transfer from Edmonton is shorter at about 5-4 hours. During the sightseeing days, you will spend little time on the bus as you will be walking/sightseeing/hiking & etc.
Day 1 (Vancouver to Jasper)
Depart from Vancouver and drive through the farming communities of the Fraser Valley. Ascend into the Coastal Mountains and follow the Coquihalla Highway to Kamloops, in the arid interior of British Columbia. In the afternoon, visit the world famous Banff Springs Hotel and Bow Falls. With your free time in Banff, you may also choose from optional activities such as soaking in the natural spa at the Upper Hot Springs* or taking a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain*. Overnight in Banff.
