Tour Itinerary - 4 day Calgary to Vancouver Rockies Bus Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Calgary/Edmonton to Jasper Scenic Drive
At your request, we offer designated hotel pick-up for your convenience.
Coach transfer from downtown hotels or the airport to Jasper. Travel through the rolling foothills of Alberta into the majestic Canadian Rockies. En route, take the Icefields Parkway, “one of the most beautiful highways in the world”. Overnight in Jasper.
Calgary Departure: 10:30 AM, Calgary Airport. Arrives: 6:30 in Jasper PM. 3:00 PM. Hotel pick-up times may vary
Edmonton Departure: Edmonton Airport. Arrives: 8:30 PM in Jasper
Day 2: Jasper to Banff Sightseeing
Start your journey from Jasper with a scenic stop at Pyramid Lake, surrounded by peaceful alpine scenery and beautiful mountain views. Continue south along the Icefields Parkway, often considered one of the most beautiful highways in the world. Along the way, visit highlights such as Athabasca Falls, the Columbia Icefield, and Peyto Lake, subject to seasonal road and weather conditions. At the Columbia Icefield, guests may join the optional Ice Explorer Glacier Adventure on the Athabasca Glacier. Overnight in Banff. [B]
Day 3: Banff & Lake Louise Sightseeing
Prepare yourself for another exhilarating day of sightseeing and activities in Banff National Park. As we make our way to Lake Louise, we will pause at Johnston Canyon for a leisurely hike (optional) along the trail that guides us to the breathtaking Lower Falls. While at Lake Louise, you’ll find numerous viewpoints offering splendid photo opportunities of the majestic Victoria Glacier towering over the lake. In the afternoon, our adventure continues as we explore other notable attractions in the Rockies, including Moraine Lake (seasonal), Banff Springs Hotel, and Bow Falls Don’t forget to take advantage of the gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain** for a breathtaking panoramic view of Banff town and its surrounding or Upper Hot Springs for a soothing soak in the hot, mineral-rich water. Day 4: Banff to Vancouver Scenic Drive
Heading west, your journey will take you across the Continental Divide, which serves as the geographical boundary separating waters flowing to the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. As you make your way towards Rogers Pass, the highest point in the Canadian Rockies, keep an eye out for the fascinating Spiral Tunnels. These tunnels are a remarkable achievement in railway engineering, strategically designed to navigate the steep gradient of the mountains and facilitate the safe passage of trains. Arrive in downtown Vancouver in the evening. [B]

How early should we book?
Demand for Canadian vacations is exceptionally high due to pent-up interest. We strongly recommend securing your seats early to guarantee your preferred travel date and to avoid the risk of hotel downgrades.
Difference between standard and premium accommodation?
Standard accommodations in our packages offer mountain lodge-style hotels, renowned for their cleanliness and comfort, providing guests with private rooms and en-suite washrooms. For those seeking an even more luxurious experience, our premium accommodations are resort-style hotels that tend to sell out fast. We advise booking premium options well in advance, as they often become unavailable six months prior to departure.
Are gratuities included in the tour package cost?
Gratuities are not included in our prices, unless otherwise indicated. While we do not dictate the amount you should offer as a tip, it is customary in Canada to provide gratuities as a token of appreciation for excellent service
How many hours will the coach travel each day?
Each travel day on our tours is more than just a transfer — it’s part of the adventure. Whether you’re traveling from Calgary to Jasper (around 7–8 hours), Edmonton to Jasper (about 4–5 hours), or between Vancouver and Jasper or Banff (approximately 10 hours), every journey is filled with breathtaking scenery and plenty of opportunities to relax and explore. We schedule regular mini breaks every 2–3 hours, giving you time to stretch, enjoy the views, and capture amazing photos of Canada’s stunning landscapes. On sightseeing days, travel time is kept to a minimum so you can fully enjoy walking, exploring, and discovering the highlights of the Canadian Rockies. With our comfortable motorcoaches and thoughtfully paced itineraries, every mile is part of a memorable, scenic experience.
How can I go back to Calgary after the tour ends?
The Western Classics is a one way journey from Calgary to Vancouver. The easiest way to return is by flight, but we’ll be happy to recommend alternative travel options if you’d prefer a different route back.
Is there space for wheelchairs of mobility aids?
We welcome guests of all mobility levels on our tours. While our motorcoaches are not equipped with wheelchair lifts, we can usually accommodate foldable wheelchairs or mobility aids that can be safely stored in the luggage compartment. If you or a companion use a mobility device, please let us know in advance, our team will do their best to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
