Day 1: Vancouver to Kamloops – Rocky Mountaineer Train
Departure: 7:30 am
Arrival: 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Travel aboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, the largest city in the interior. On this journey, you will witness remarkable changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley and forests nestled in winding river canyons to the desert-like landscape of the interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in Fraser Canyon and the stunning slopes and snow sheds along the Thompson River. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer follows the scenic shores of Kamloops Lake, bringing you to your overnight destination, Kamloops. [B] [L]
Day 2: Kamloops to Jasper – Rocky Mountaineer Train
Departure: 6:45 am
Arrival: 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Continue your Rocky Mountaineer journey from Kamloops to Jasper, travelling along the North Thompson River and through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains toward the Canadian Rockies. Highlights along the route may include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Pyramid Falls, and the climb over Yellowhead Pass into Jasper National Park. Arrive in Jasper in the evening, where you will spend the night. [B] [L]
Day 3: Jasper to Banff - Motor Coach
Departure: 8:00 am
Arrival: 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Start your journey from Jasper with a scenic stop at Pyramid Lake before continuing south along the Icefields Parkway, often considered one of the most beautiful highways in the world.. Continue south along the Icefields Parkway, often considered one of the most beautiful highways in the world. Along the way, visit highlights such as Athabasca Falls, the Columbia Icefield, and Peyto Lake, subject to seasonal road and weather conditions. At the Columbia Icefield, guests may join the optional Ice Explorer Glacier Adventure on the Athabasca Glacier. Overnight in Banff. [B]
Day 4: Banff National Park, including Lake Louise - Motor Coach
Departure: 8:00 am
Arrival: 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Prepare for a full day of sightseeing and activities in Banff National Park. On the way to Lake Louise, stop at Johnston Canyon for a leisurely hike before continuing to one of the most photographed lakes in the Canadian Rockies. At Lake Louise, enjoy spectacular views of Victoria Glacier and the surrounding mountain scenery. In the afternoon, visit more Banff highlights, including Moraine Lake (seasonal), Bow Falls, and the Banff Springs Hotel. Guests may also choose to ride the Banff Gondola for panoramic views of Banff and the surrounding mountains, or visit the Banff Upper Hot Springs for a relaxing soak in the mineral-rich waters. Day 5: Banff to Vancouver - Motor Coach

The guided sightseeing portion allows guests to explore more of the Canadian Rockies beyond the rail route, including Lake Louise, Banff, Jasper, the Icefields Parkway, scenic lakes, waterfalls, canyons, and mountain viewpoints. Travelling with an experienced guide also makes the journey smoother, more informative, and easier to enjoy.
How is the tour price Calculated?
Your tour includes 3 main components: Hotel accommodation, a Rocky Mountaineer Rail trip, and a Deluxe motorcoach tour. Tour cost is based on the choice of hotel stay (standard or deluxe), rail service (GoldLeaf or SilverLeaf), and room occupancy (Single, Double, Triple, or Quad). Published rates are per person in Canadian dollars before tax.
How early should we book?
Pent-up demand for Canadian vacations has been extremely high, and we highly recommend that you book your seats as early as possible

Difference between the standard and premium plus accommodation?
Standard hotels are mountain lodge-style while Premium Plus hotels are resort-style. The majority of our guests choose standard accommodation as these hotels are very clean and comfortable, and travelers will get their own private room and washroom. Travelers who book Premium Plus accommodation often do so because they want to stay at full service hotels, such as Banff Springs Hotel. If you want to book premium accommodation, be sure to book early as these hotels sell out quickly – availability is limited within 6 months of departure!
Are gratuities included in the tour package?
Gratuities are not included in the prices, except for onboard the Rocky Mountaineer. It is customary to tip for excellent service in Canada.
Is there space for wheelchairs or mobility aids?
We welcome guests of all mobility levels on our tours. While our motorcoaches are not equipped with wheelchair lifts, we can usually accommodate foldable wheelchairs or mobility aids that can be safely stored in the luggage compartment. If you or a companion use a mobility device, please let us know in advance — our team will do their best to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
How many hours will the coach travel each day?
Each travel day is a scenic experience, not just a transfer. As we make our way from Banff to Vancouver, you’ll enjoy incredible views, short rest stops, and chances to photograph some of Canada’s most stunning landscapes. Filled with spectacular scenery and frequent stops to rest, explore, and take photos. Our comfortable motorcoaches make every mile enjoyable.
