Day 1: Vancouver to Jasper Scenic Drive
The journey from Vancouver to the Rockies takes you through the picturesque farming communities of the Fraser Valley, with a memorable photo stop in the charming town of Hope. As you continue, you’ll ascend into the majestic Coastal Mountains, following the breathtaking Coquihalla Highway to Kamloops. After a lunch break, you’ll retrace the historic path of the famous Overlanders, following the winding course of the North Thompson River to Jasper. Along the way, take a moment to marvel at the awe-inspiring Mount Robson, the tallest peak in British Columbia. Enjoy an overnight stay in Jasper
Day 2: Jasper to Banff Sightseeing
Start your journey from Jasper with a scenic stop at Pyramid Lake, surrounded by peaceful alpine scenery and beautiful mountain views. Continue south along the Icefields Parkway, often considered one of the most beautiful highways in the world. Along the way, visit highlights such as Athabasca Falls, the Columbia Icefield, and Peyto Lake, subject to seasonal road and weather conditions. At the Columbia Icefield, guests may join the optional Ice Explorer Glacier Adventure on the Athabasca Glacier. Overnight in Banff. [B]
Day 3: Banff & Lake Louise Sightseeing
Prepare yourself for another exhilarating day of sightseeing and activities in Banff National Park. As we make our way to Lake Louise, we will pause at Johnston Canyon for a leisurely hike (optional) along the trail that guides us to the breathtaking Lower Falls. While at Lake Louise, you’ll find numerous viewpoints offering splendid photo opportunities of the majestic Victoria Glacier towering over the lake. In the afternoon, our adventure continues as we explore other notable attractions in the Rockies, including Moraine Lake (seasonal), Banff Springs Hotel, and Bow Falls Don’t forget to take advantage of the gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain** for a breathtaking panoramic view of Banff town and its surrounding or Upper Hot Springs for a soothing soak in the hot, mineral-rich water. Day 4: Banff to Calgary Scenic Drive
To Calgary Airport: Starting from 6:15 am (many departures). Departures that include hotel drop-off
Travel Time: Approximately 2.5 hours to the airport and 3 hours to Downtown Calgary

Leaving Banff, you’ll head east on the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1), bidding farewell to the majestic peaks and alpine scenery. Is there space for wheelchair or mobility aids?
We welcome guests of all mobility levels on our tours. While our motorcoaches are not equipped with wheelchair lifts, we can usually accommodate foldable wheelchairs or mobility aids that can be safely stored in the luggage compartment. Yes! The Western Trails Tour allows travelers to extend their stay in Banff or Lake Louise. If you choose to stay longer, the only additional costs are for the extra hotel nights and, if you’re staying in Lake Louise, a small transfer fee.
